Follow On Initiative (FOI) seeks to further your post-military career desires by pairing you, one-on-one, with our ambassadors who are current (or former) executives in the field you are interested in. These ambassadors have a vast experience base and are committed to help refine your resume and prepare you for interviews at senior-level positions in industry.

Engagement Opportunities

One of the goals at FOI is to provide the service members with an engagement opportunity that won't be found at any of the other military transition programs. These broadening engagements will provide the service member a networking experience outside of the traditional options normally provided to them.

Our team understands the difficulty in being provided time off to attend traditional transition programs. Follow On Initiative's program is conducted during one weekend to allow for maximum flexibility at no cost to the service member.

About Follow On Initiative

Founded by operators who made the same transition

Our non-profit organization is dedicated to providing career transition assistance to service members from the United States Special Operations and Special Mission Unit community; these highly specialized individuals warrant assistance from a team who can provide them tailored opportunities based upon their personal desires, capability, and understand their operational acumen.

Follow On Initiative started as our founding members have experienced first-hand the transition process from Special Operations to civilian occupations. While other advocacy groups provide holistic and broad-reaching support to those Special Operations service members, Follow On Initiative seeks to highlight and utilize the particular talents of our customer base to facilitate a connection to their civilian counterparts and provide them a unique and streamlined path to networking and employment engagement opportunities.

The founding members are all current or former Special Operations service members and have worked with every facet of that community. We understand the difficulties when trying to juggle the demands of operational requirements while initiating the transition process from military to civilian occupation.
